En un desierto inhóspito e inmenso, un viento estrepitoso y fulminante, dejo entrever un atisbo de verdad y realidad, que como un destello luminoso se presentó ante él. Luego de observarlo por un instante, comprendió su valor e impulsado por su instinto, con calma y a paso firme, lo llevo ante otros para que lo pudieran contemplar. Con naturalidad, todos quienes quisieron pudieron ver este atisbo, cuya belleza y riqueza fue tan grande como el reflejo de la propia verdad, que carga y lleva en su interior, cada uno.

In an inhospitable and immense desert, a resounding and fulminant wind, allowed a glimpse of truth and reality, which presented itself before him like a luminous flash. After observing it for a moment, he understood its value and, driven by instinct, calmly and with a steady step, brought it before others so they could contemplate it. Naturally, all who wished to were able to see this glimpse, whose beauty and richness were as great as the reflection of truth itself, which each and every one carries within.
COFRE PRESENTE, corresponde a una intervención efímera, que a través de la exposición de una escultura habitable, pretende mostrarse e interactuar con sus visitantes, entregando un punto de interés nuevo y diferente, asociado al arte, la introspección y la comunión. De esta forma, la presencia de esta obra, por su volumetría, materialidad, color y uso: modifica y transforma el lugar donde se emplaza; conforma un nuevo paisaje; y sirve a sus visitantes como un espacio de encuentro y conexión consigo mismos, por medio de sus actividades vinculadas de respiración. Así también, este objeto de arte, que invita a su recorrido y uso: carga consigo un mensaje alusivo a la temporalidad, el movimiento, la transformación, la presencia y el presente, conceptos que le dan forma, vida y significado.

COFRE PRESENTE, corresponds to an ephemeral intervention that, through the exhibition of a habitable sculpture, aims to reveal itself and interact with its visitors, delivering a new and distinct point of interest associated with art, introspection, and communion. In this way, the very presence of this work—through its volume, materiality, color, and use—modifies and transforms the site where it is placed; shapes a new landscape; and serves its visitors as a space for encounter and connection with themselves through its corresponding breathing activities. Likewise, this art object, which invites exploration and use, carries a message alluding to temporality, movement, transformation, presence, and the present—concepts that give it form, life, and meaning.
Durante su estadía en el Salón Pedro Olmos del Museo de Arte y Artesanía de Linares, se llevaron a cabo una serie de talleres de respiración y visitas guiadas con el autor, que permitieron lograr una interacción y experiencia más inmersiva con la obra. Los talleres se realizaron semanalmente en pequeños grupos en el interior del habitáculo. Finalizado cada taller, se solicitó a los participantes que escribieran en un papel de color acerca de las sensaciones vividas, los cuales fueron colgados de manera individual, en el tabique de exposición, que dio cuenta de la experiencia de sus visitantes, formando parte de esta muestra artística.

During its run at the Salón Pedro Olmos of the Museo de Arte y Artesanía de Linares, a series of breathing workshops and guided tours led by the author took place, fostering a deeper, more immersive interaction with the piece. The workshops were held weekly for small groups inside the cabin. At the end of each session, participants were invited to write down their feelings and sensations on colored paper. These notes were then individually hung on the exhibition partition, serving as a visual record of the visitors’ experience and becoming an integral part of the art piece itself.
