“Dos partes de una misma cosa, con alma y vida propia, se distanciaron y sentaron por un instante, uno junto al otro. El lugar que los observaba, que era tierra y aire, para distinguirlos, les dio color. Al que pintó de azul se hizo agua, quien realizó un viaje interno hacia la calma, y al que pintó de rojo, se hizo fuego, el cual navegó por un torbellino que lo movió por dentro. Luego de un rato, el azul y el rojo, comprendieron su naturaleza, agradecieron al lugar que les mostró su verdad y se levantaron, para continuar su camino como partes y como hermanos”.
/“Two parts of the same thing, with a soul and a life of their own, distanced themselves and sat for an instant, side by side. The place that observed them, which was earth and air, to distinguish them, gave them color. The one painted in blue became water, which made an inner journey towards calm, and the one painted in red became fire, which sailed through a whirlwind that moved him inside. After a while, the blue and the red understood their nature, thanked the place that showed them its truth and rose up, to continue their journey as parts and as brothers”.

TORRES HERMANAS, corresponde a una intervención efímera en el patio central del museo de arte y artesanía de linares, que a través de la ubicación de dos torres simbólicas, invitan a sus visitantes a recorrerlas, explorarlas y habitarlas, proporcionando de esta manera, una experiencia espacial y sensitiva, única y particular, asociada a la tranquilidad y el movimiento, en un acotado entorno natural, rodeado de arte, cultura e historia. Así, la torre azul ubicada en el patio de las camelias, llama a la pausa, el descanso, la calma, el silencio, la conexión y el equilibrio; y la torre roja, ubicada en la explanada del anfiteatro, hace alusión a lo fluctuante, lo sinuoso, lo laberintico, las búsquedas, los procesos y el acierto y el error, como la vida misma. De esta manera, ambas esculturas, contrapuestas y complementarias, amigas con su entorno y hermanas en su propósito, sirven de soporte para descansar, descubrir, respirar, meditar y contemplar un nuevo paisaje, que surge desde la abstracción, el arte, la arquitectura y la construcción.
/SISTER TOWERS, corresponds to an ephemeral intervention in the central courtyard of the museum of art and crafts of Linares, which through the location of two symbolic towers, invite visitors to walk, explore and inhabit them, thus providing a spatial and sensory experience, unique and particular, associated with tranquility and movement, in a limited natural environment, surrounded by art, culture and history. Thus, the blue tower located in the courtyard of the camellias, calls for pause, rest, calm, silence, connection and balance; and the red tower, located on the esplanade of the amphitheater, alludes to the fluctuating, the winding, the labyrinthine, the searches, the processes and the right and wrong, like life itself. In this way, both sculptures, opposing and complementary, friends with their environment and sisters in their purpose, serve as a support to rest, discover, breathe, meditate and contemplate a new landscape, which arises from abstraction, art, architecture and construction.
