“En el atardecer del día, proveniente del sol, descendió un ave poderosa, que se detuvo robusta, donde vivía una mujer olvidada y gentil. Ahí, el pájaro gigante, guiado por la voluntad de su creador, se iluminó y con magia de otro mundo, construyó un nido con pajas y restos. Mientras esto acontecía, a la distancia se acercó la mujer, que pudo ver por un instante, los ojos de tan maravillosa criatura, que comenzaba ya su retorno. Ante tan fantástico suceso, la mujer emocionada, dejó caer una lágrima hacia su pecho, donde emergió una flor, delicada y luminosa, que supo tomar y depositar con cuidado dentro del nido, la cual regó, acompañó y atesoró, por siempre”.

Faced with such a fantastic event, the excited woman dropped a tear to her chest, where a flower emerged, delicate and luminous, which she knew how to take and place with care inside the nest, which she watered, accompanied and treasured forever”.
Aledaño a la localidad de Linares, en el patio de una parcela, se ubica un cubo imperfecto, que contrasta con el verde de los árboles, el cielo azul y todo lo construido, que por ahí se encuentra. Envuelto en la tranquilidad del campo, en el sonido de los árboles y de los pájaros, este habitáculo de madera, de líneas verticales y horizontales por fuera, contiene por dentro, un espacio que abre sus vistas hacia el cielo, una higuera y otros árboles, a través de una serie de vacíos, que rompen con su simetría, encuadran el paisaje que lo rodea e invitan a que la luz del sol se haga presente cuan fuerte es. Su estructura, define 3 niveles: el primero, que contiene el acceso y un piso separado del suelo a 20 cm, con 3 planos inclinados continuos, en forma de U en su planta, que permiten el libre apoyo del cuerpo; el segundo, de planos verticales perforados, con aberturas y dos plataformas triangulares elevadas, de distinto tamaño, que favorecen la contemplación del entorno a media altura; y el tercero, cuyos cierres superiores, también perforados, filtran la luz natural, dejan entrever el exterior al atardecer y se inclinan en dirección a un vacío superior, que enmarca al cielo, como si fuera una pintura viva que acompaña con su belleza a quien la mira desde dentro. De esta manera, por su condición material, este volumen simbólico, llama a la calma, la introspección y la quietud interior, de quien lo habita, en directa relación y conexión con la naturaleza que la circunda.
/Near the town of Linares, in the courtyard of a plot, there is an imperfect cube, which contrasts with the green of the trees, the blue sky and everything that has been built, which is there. Wrapped in the tranquility of the countryside, in the sound of the trees and the birds, this wooden cabin, with vertical and horizontal lines on the outside, contains inside, a space that opens its views towards the sky, a fig tree and other trees, through a series of voids, which break with its symmetry, frame the surrounding landscape and invite the sunlight to show how strong it is. Its structure defines 3 levels: the first, which contains the access and a floor separated from the ground at 20 cm, with 3 continuous inclined planes, in a U-shape on its floor, which allow the free support of the body; the second, with perforated vertical planes, with openings and two raised triangular platforms, of different sizes, that favor the contemplation of the environment at mid-height; and the third, whose upper closures, also perforated, filter the natural light, allow a glimpse of the exterior at sunset and lean towards a higher void, which frames the sky, as if it were a living painting that accompanies the person with its beauty, he looks at her from within. In this way, due to its material condition, this symbolic volume calls for calm, introspection and inner stillness, of those who inhabit it, in direct relationship and connection with the nature that surrounds it.
