“Cansado y abatido, el viejo monarca, comenzó su viaje de regreso. Se alejó de su antiguo hogar, para posarse cómodamente en una pequeña choza, que construyeron sus amigos. Quienes lo vieron, lo contemplaron a la distancia con respeto, como el antiguo rey que pretendió ser. Ya con su último aliento, inclinado ante la vida, se dejó llevar y desapareció en la sorpresa. Sin su presencia, su recuerdo se hizo vivo e inspirado por el amor con que fue recibido, acogió y cuido a las pequeñas criaturas que lo aceptaron y acompañaron, durante su estadía, por aquel lugar”.
/“Tired and dejected, the old monarch began his return journey. He moved away from his old home, to perch comfortably in a small hut, which his friends built. Those who saw him gazed at him from a distance with respect, as the ancient king he pretended to be. Already with his last breath, bowed to life, he let himself be carried away and disappeared in surprise. Without his presence, his memory became alive and inspired by the love with which he was received, welcomed and cared for the little creatures who accepted him and accompanied him, during his stay, for that place”.
Ante el traslado, desde campo a la ciudad, de un perro imposibilitado de poder caminar por sus propios medios, acostumbrado a la naturaleza, los espacios ventilados y el frio del invierno, surge una obra particular, acorde a las nuevas necesidades y requerimientos, de la mascota y de sus nuevos amos. Así, esta estructura habitable: se ajusta a las dimensiones de su usuario; se apoya en el suelo a través de ruedas, que permiten su movimiento y desplazamiento con soltura; deja pasar el viento por sus caras laterales, para su constante ventilación; se protege del agua y del sol con sus planos inclinados; y se abre de forma flexible por uno de ellos, para facilitar los cuidados pertinentes; conformando de esta manera, un habitáculo, que se desplaza por el patio y que sirve hoy de refugio, para el resto de las mascotas del hogar.
/Faced with the transfer, from the countryside to the city, of a dog unable to walk by its own means, accustomed to nature, ventilated spaces and the cold of winter, a particular work arises, according to the new needs and requirements, of the pet and its new masters. Thus, this habitable structure: adjusts to the dimensions of its user; it rests on the ground by means of wheels, which allow its movement and displacement with ease; it lets the wind pass through its lateral faces, for its constant ventilation; it protects itself from the water and the sun with its inclined planes; and it is flexibly opened by one of them, to facilitate the pertinent care; thus forming a cabin that moves through the patio and today serves as a refuge for the rest of the household pets.
