“Tras un largo viaje, se detuvo en la cima. Respiró y vió la naturaleza. Todo era correcto. Cada cosa estaba en su lugar. Recordó que alguna vez la había sentido y que era perfecta. Esta vez, no era necesario ser más grande o más sabia que ella, solo bastaba con contemplarla. Tras un rato, abrió los ojos y se desvaneció su cuerpo. Se fugó con la brisa, el silencio y el mar. Ahí se encontró con su naturaleza propia, tranquila, pausada y liviana. Al volver, recuperó su forma, sus pertenencias, sus logros y algo más”.
/“After a long journey, he stopped at the top. He breathed and saw nature. Everything was correct. Everything was in its place. She remembered that it had ever felt it and that it was perfect. This time, it wasn’t necessary to be bigger or wiser than her, she was just enough to contemplate it. After a while, she opened her eyes and her body vanished. She ran away with the breeze, the silence and the sea. There she found her own nature, calm, slow and light. Upon returning, she regained her form, her belongings, her achievements and something else”.
En la parte más alta de una vivienda, situada sobre un cerro, en la localidad de Pelluhue, aparece una losa extraña, ajena y distante, sobre la cual, se posa una escultura habitable, que controla el sol, direcciona las vistas y zonifica en retazos, la pequeña superficie existente. Esta obra, por su forma y condición, invita a sus visitantes, a recorrerla y habitarla con libertad, proporcionando diversas posibilidades de apoyo, para observar el paisaje aledaño y disfrutar la tranquilidad y belleza del lugar, siendo el nexo material y espacial, entre la persona y su entorno. Este entramado de madera, de aspecto abstracto, protege con su sombra, ordena con su presencia y posibilita con su existencia, una manera primitiva de habitar, donde el cuerpo debe estar sentado, permitiendo y facilitando, el descanso, la quietud, la contemplación y el reposo.
/In the highest part of a house, located on a hill, in the town of Pelluhue, a strange, foreign and distant slab appears, on which a habitable sculpture rests, which controls the sun, directs the views and zoning in scraps, the small existing surface. This work, due to its shape and condition, invites its visitors to freely explore and inhabit it, providing various support possibilities, to observe the surrounding landscape and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the place, being the material and spatial link between the person and their environment. This framework of wood, with an abstract aspect, protects with its shadow, orders with its presence and makes possible with its existence, a primitive way of inhabiting, where the body must be seated, allowing and facilitating, stillness, contemplation and rest.
